ETHIOPIAN PEPPER: Also called grains of Selim, this smoky, aromatic spice is valued in Ethiopia and across Africa for its warming and restorative qualities.
Traditionally brewed into herbal infusions or added to healing broths, it supports digestion, clears congestion, and is used in postpartum care to strengthen and rebalance the body.
More than a seasoning, it carries a long history of being used for protection, vitality, and spiritual cleansing.
Ethiopia has experienced several overlapping and regional conflicts in recent years, leaving families displaced and in urgent need of support. A portion of proceeds from this release will support , which provides healthcare support, education, and holistic care for vulnerable children and families in Addis Ababa, where many displaced communities seek stability and care.
Each tee is made in small batches in Puebla, Mexico from 100% cotton, then hand screen-printed in Mexico City. Subtle variations make every piece one of a kind. Pre-washed and faded to feel like a vintage tee.
This offering is one small way we hope to raise awareness and show solidarity through mutual aid, honoring the shared threads that bind us all as human beings. 🙏🏾
