The universe doesn’t whisper politely when it wants your attention.
It twists your arm until you finally say, “okay… I surrender.”
Most of us spend years playing this exhausting game of chicken—holding our ground, gripping our patterns, convinced that letting go equals weakness.
In my conversation with Susannah Rose, she named it perfectly: emotional constipation. I laughed… and then realized how true it is. We’ve been taught that vulnerability is dangerous and surrender means losing control.
But here’s the paradox: surrendering to what wants to emerge through you is actually the bravest thing you can do. It’s scarier than staying stuck. Scarier than staying sick.
And yet, that terrifying void? That’s where healing lives.
The latest episode of The Conversations cracked open some armor I didn’t even know I was wearing—and it might do the same for you.
