Ownership by Philip Pennacchia. The main thing when developing muscle is time under tension. This comes from contracting the muscle as hard as you can throughout a whole range of motion to the point of positive failure. It is not how many sets you do but the quality of your sets that will make the difference in your physique. Make sure you OWN the weight by controlling it every pound and every inch of the way.

If you have an injury especially if you're over 35, a lot of times most people just figure they should rest. There could be nothing farther from the truth. When you have an injury you need to get it moving and break up the scar tissue ,you need to create circulation and strengthen the surrounding muscles that support that joint.Try to find Exercises that allow you to get some muscle stimulation without aggravating the condition. Always work around Injuries .
