One question we often get from donors is about whether donating eggs affect your fertility? Donating eggs does not impact your future fertility. Each month, your body naturally discards multiple eggs. Fertility medications help mature more of them for retrieval without reducing your long-term egg supply. Research shows no long-term effects on fertility.

Many of our intended parents wonder about how we screen our donor candidates. TLC uses a rigorous screening process before adding any donor to our egg donor database. This includes an application, education verification, and a personal interview. Donors must also pass clinic-administered medical exams, psychological evaluations, and genetic testing. Three years ago, our Founder and CEO, Tiffany, was diagnosed with Stage 2B Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Just nine days later, she began chemotherapy—16 rounds, a double mastectomy, and a long road to recovery.

Today, Tiffany is three years cancer-free. 💕

Her journey gave her not only strength, but purpose. Through her experience, she saw firsthand how cancer treatments can affect fertility—and how many survivors long to build a family afterward.

Her experience drives her work at TLC Donor Services: to help cancer survivors and others facing medical infertility find hope again through egg donation and surrogacy.
