Heavenly Father,
We come before you this morning with hearts full of gratitude. Thank you for your faithful watch over us through the darkness of the night, for granting us rest and safety. Thank you for the gift of this new day, for the breath in our lungs and the light that scatters the shadows.
As we step into the hours ahead, we ask for your divine guidance. Lead our steps, order our thoughts, and direct our actions. May our words be kind and our deeds reflect your love. Protect us from all harm, seen and unseen, and when this day's work is done, unite us safely once more with our beloved families, sharing stories of your goodness.
We humbly ask that you provide for our needs, granting us this day our daily bread.
We also lift up to you those who are suffering. Lay your healing hand upon the sick and restore them to health. We ask you to visit the broken-hearted, the lonely, and the weary. Pour your comfort into homes filled with strife and marriages that are struggling.
You are the originator of marriage, the author of love itself. We ask that you would breathe new life into relationships that have grown cold. Rekindle the love that first brought couples together, mend what is torn, and heal what is wounded. Help forgiveness to flow and trust to be rebuilt, making our families and relationships a testament to your redeeming power.
We place this day, our lives, our needs, and our loved ones into your capable hands.
