Why choose a surgeon with a private, on-site operating room? Beyond avoiding the costs and administrative challenges of a rented facility, a private operating room ensures a smoother experience with consistent staff, instruments, and protocols. Recovery is also more convenient, with our in-office recovery suite and private overnight nurse. And, I’ll check on you first thing in the morning!

Plastic surgery in pairs is more popular than ever. Last year, people started talking much more openly about their plastic surgery procedures - and not only are they talking about them, but they’re listening. People are sharing and receiving ideas, and more frequently, people are choosing to get aesthetic procedures together. I’m a huge fan of this because it’s a great way to share a journey and have a transformative experience with a friend or loved one by your side.

Thank you to and for highlighting the new trend in body sculpting with , which, as I said to , functions as an off-the-shelf-fat graft. Alloclae is a tremendous asset for patients who are pretty lean, fit and don’t have a lot of fat of their own. Plus, it can be a minimally invasive alternative to going under the knife, which also offers a rapid recovery. I would like to thank Stacey, my patient, who shared her journey, which started when she came to me to address a “shark bite-sized hole in her thigh” from “lipo-gone-wrong” with another doctor. As a board-certified plastic surgeon, I will always stay on top of the latest advancements to give my patients best-in-class solutions.

The best way to prepare for surgery is to start at the molecular level to make sure everything is optimized before you head into the OR. We do this by ensuring our patient’s nutritional status is in line and that they are not using ni****ne or anything else that would interfere with wound healing. As we learn more about peptides, cytokines, and related molecules, we can start to use them to actually enhance the way your body responds to surgery. I think as 2026 continues, we are going to be actively manipulating these factors in both pre-op and post-op settings. Stay tuned for more videos on the biggest plastic surgery trends of 2026!

Alloclae is a new and powerful way to bring the benefits of fat transfer to candidates who might not have enough fat of their own. So, how does it work? Alloclae is fat that’s harvested from human donors. It contains intact fat cells and architecture, but not living cells. This means you’re essentially installing the scaffolding from fatty tissue and then your body populates it with its own living fat cells. This patient with lipedema came in looking to slim down her legs and thighs in order to create a silhouette that aligned with her goals and treat the pain associated with this condition. We treated her with VASER-assisted liposuction to achieve a natural, refined contour while minimizing trauma to her tissue. She is now going to the gym pain-free and loving her new look. Is it possible to have plastic surgery while you’re awake? Absolutely. Some procedures - including liposuction, mini brachioplasties, mini thigh lifts, and mini “tummy tucks” can be done with lidocaine (numbing medicine) because they involve smaller areas. There is a maximum amount of lidocaine that can safely be given during any procedure. One of the primary reasons that we elect to use general anesthesia in larger cases, like “mommy makeovers” and breast augmentations, is that it’s difficult to safely give you enough lidocaine to keep you comfortable.
