Great article here. Moral of the story. Treat the patient, not the scan...full spine X-rays are useless for diagnostic purposes, and create a culture of fear in patients. Anyone who tells you otherwise is simply stealing your money.

If you are sitting around waiting for a cure for joint or muscle pain, it's time to radically change your thinking and get active.

Patients do just as well at 3 months and 6 months post-op when discharged directly home after a knee/hip replacement, compared to those staying as inpatient rehab. Another reason to get patients home sooner.
