You’ve probably heard the debate...folic acid or methylfolate?

 Here’s what research shows:

 • Folic acid is the only form proven in clinical studies to reduce neural tube defects.

• Even if you have MTHFR gene variants, folic acid is still effective.

• Other forms like 5-MTHF or methylfolate haven’t been tested for those same outcomes.
