Preceptor certification demonstrates your commitment to superior professionalism, upholding industry standards, and continued learning.
These merits can help boost your professional credibility and prestige within your own network, with your colleagues, with patients, and when pursuing new work or role opportunities.
Once you become a Certified Preceptor (CP), you will receive your certification document stating that as a professional, you’ve been trained, educated, and are prepared to meet a specific set of criteria for the role of a preceptor.
You will also be able to use the designated credential earned–CP–after your name to verify your legitimacy and competence as a Certified Preceptor (CP).
Applications are reviewed on a rolling (ongoing) basis.
