Flourless, gluten-free, and perfect for Passover.

Recipe below

Prep Time: 10 Minutes Cook Time: 25 Minutes Total Time: 35 Minutes INGREDIENTS 1 ½ cup canned Chickpeas - or 1 can of canned chickpea of 400g (14 oz), drained, towel-dried ⅓ cup Almond Butter (unsalted) or sunflower seed butter if nut-free. You can also use peanut butter. ½ cup Raw

Tuesday Health Tip! Easy trick to reduce belly fat!

If your weight is shifting to your middle lately, you are not alone. This is very common in midlife and menopause.😩

One of the biggest things that helps is keeping your blood sugar steady throughout the day. And it is pretty easy to do. It's not about eating less, it is about eating and pairing the right foods.

Don't eat carbs by themselves. Instead, pair them with protein or a healthy fat.

🍏Apple with peanut butter/almond butter
🍳Toast with eggs
🧀Crackers with cheese
🍗Chicken with potato/sweet potato

This helps you:
▪Feel fuller longer
▪Have more steady energy
▪Reduce cravings
▪Support your body so it is less likely to store fat around the belly

Super easy. You don’t need to be perfect. Just start with one meal or snack and build from there.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀🍦 If you’re craving a Shamrock Shake, you might want to “re-think your drink” this year — the classic has almost 4x the daily added sugar, plus chemicals and food dyes 🤮.

This recipe for a healthy Shamrock Shake is not as good as the real thing, but it is pretty good and my kids gave it the thumbs up! It is also low-in sugar and loaded with spinach and avocado (shhh.. don’t tell my kids).

$10.99 for blueberries… seriously? It's off-season. Go for the frozen. They’re picked at peak ripeness and flash frozen, keeping more antioxidants than fresh berries that have been shipped in from who-knows-where and sitting on shelves for weeks. Less expensive and more nutritious. Win-win. 🫐

🏈 Super Bowl Game Plan for Today! (Plus Healthy Recipes)

The Super Bowl weekend can feel a little meh if your team isn’t playing. Even if football isn’t your thing, the commercials are fun and the game is a great excuse to be social and enjoy some food without going overboard.

If you are watching tonight, here’s a simple game plan to enjoy the day without waking up Monday feeling bloated or off track:

Pre-Game
✔ Eat a healthy breakfast and lunch
✔ Move your body, even a short walk
✔ Hydrate
✔ Have a healthy snack before the party
Game Time
✔ Fill most of your plate with veggies and healthier options
✔ Enjoy indulgences in realistic portions
✔ Avoid mindless munching and focus on socializing or the commercials
✔ Choose water or seltzer; if drinking alcohol, stick with lighter options
If things go sideways, let it go. One day does not undo your progress.
