Color of Teal, Inc. Color of Teal, Inc. raises awareness for all gynecologic (cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, vulvar) cancers. Ladies, do you have an irregular menstrual cycle?

Do you have bloating? Frequent urination or even loss of appetite? Although these symptoms may seem vague, they are the same symptoms of ovarian cancer. Approximately 70% of women who have ovarian cancer will die. Many women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer at advanced stages, and only a few live after diagnosis. It is estimated that in the U.S. alone, 21,850 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and about 13,580 women will die from the disease. Ovarian Cancer is the leading cause of death from gynecologic cancers and the fifth leading cause of death in women. Color of Teal will keep women informed with up to date cutting edge ovarian cancer research and ovarian cancer causes. Our project provides support to women who have been previously affected by this disease and those who will be affected in the future. We will be able to educate women on detecting this disease at an earlier stage, educate women on pertinent questions to ask their physicians, and aiding in treatment in an effort to help women live longer.
