Diwali on the Hudson was nothing short of extraordinary. The event brought together a dynamic and inspiring group of like-minded individuals, all united by a shared commitment to making a meaningful impact. Against the stunning backdrop of the Hudson River, the evening was filled with warmth, celebration, and purpose. From the beautiful decor to the electric energy in the room, every detail reflected the spirit of Diwali - light, hope, and community. Most importantly, it was a powertul reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together to support a cause greater than themselves.

Who are you? How do you view and deal with mistakes? Do you like this version of you?

As each year goes by, I do look back and consider who I was and where I am now.

I have always looked as “the downs”, “the mistakes” and hat ever you called them, as lessons. I also always try to see the good that came out of them … which isn’t easy and sometimes don’t feel possible, but I try.

I do genuinely love who I am right now … I’ve never felt more comfortable in my mind and soul. I don’t know if it’s peri menopause, age, experience …. What ever it is I am embracing it.

So how do you feel? How do you deal with the downs that life can throw?

How can a pose or outfit make you feel?

bought this stunning to her personal branding shoot and I loved watching what happened when she put it on and she stepped in front of the camera.

Those of you who know Kanika know she is a warm, kind and smart woman but she is a thoughtful connector and businesswoman also and her strength came through!

This whole shoot had lots of outfit changes but this set was extra special as it brought something out of Kanika in photos like I’ve never seen and I’m all for it!

Sit tall and proud, full of power!

I have so much to share from the shoot I did with … you will have seen other posts sharing her various skills in health and wellness and also as a writer, singer, performer and much more!

Each set we created for the shoot, each pose and photo, had a certain power to it. This was one of my fav from this set.

The older I get, the more self reflective I become!

While I do try to share it, what you see is not all that happens behind the scenes … both business and personal.

It’s not all always fun and games … there’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. I’m sure a lot of you will agree?

But I think about where I am now and do realise that my younger self would be so so proud of where I am.

I lacked confidence and was a TOTAL people pleaser but now feel so much stronger and confident. “No thank you” is a full sentence ;)
