Last weekend I was running on empty.
Moving. Unpacking. Complete chaos behind the scenes.

And honestly… I didn’t feel like leading anything.

But this is exactly what I teach:
Energy isn’t something you wait to have—
it’s something you cultivate.

So I showed up anyway.

At the International Women’s Day Festival , we moved, breathed, awakened energy.
We danced. We connected.

And somewhere in the middle of it…
my state shifted.

That’s the power of these practices.
Not perfection. Not “high vibes only.”
But knowing how to meet yourself where you are—
and shift.

Tomorrow we welcome a new cycle — a new year, a new rhythm, a new current of energy.

Nothing works if we don’t accept ourselves💕

Here’s something I’m learning — later than I would’ve liked — in my mid-40s:

No practice works.
No routine sticks.
No mindset shift lasts.
No healing truly holds

if we don’t fundamentally love and respect ourselves.

You can meditate.
You can eat well.
You can exercise, journal, do the breathwork.

But if you keep overriding exhaustion,
ignoring boundaries,
and asking your nervous system to perform without safety…

Your body resists.
Your energy leaks.
Your health plateaus.

What I’m learning now is that self-respect isn’t a concept.
It’s a daily physiological choice.

It’s how you respond when your body asks for rest.
It’s whether you listen instead of push.
It’s choosing regulation over approval.

This has been humbling to learn later in life —
and also incredibly freeing.

Because once respect is there,
the practices finally start working.
