This Fall Mindful Designs Baltimore's Paint Build Play Program, and "My Furrs guitar" product was involved in a transformative program called Innovation Works Boost! We created an impact strategy and financial model to help us bring our award-winning program to capture new markets!

Our Mission:

Create thousands of S.T.E.A.M. programs around our Paint Build Play model and introduce our product to early childhood development centers, community workshops, and schools.

Kids get the chance to paint and customize their own instruments. once assembled they can begin lessons. this introductory instrument exposes them to music in a non-traditional manner.

By simplifying the neck on the “My Furr’s Guitar” we teach the notes of a major scale using 7 frets. When colors are associated with notes, it helps shift children’s focus, helping them develop their auditory sense first, transforming the learning experience from traditional guitars. Pairing shapes with colors for every note allows children to follow simple patterns and learn their favorite songs!

Impact Model:

As of 2020 the Paint Build Play Academy's S.T.E.A.M. education model has impacted over 50 students, between 4 programs and 8 individual variations of the paint Build play workshop. If we sell 1200 units annually by 2023 we can potentially impact 4550 students and families with our business model around key impact areas. S.T.E.A.M. Education cultivates creativity, encourages collaborative learning, challenges users to the problem to solve, and Instills confidence. one out of five students who are in college believe that grades k-12 prepared them for the thought process to apply information the ways addressed around STEAM education.
