NEW BLOG ALERT!

We’ve discovered, witnessed, and emphasized that wedding stress is rarely just about the wedding. More often, it’s about invisible labor, identity shifts, and the pressure to make everyone else’s experience go smoothly. We wrote about the mental load behind weddings — and why common labels miss the point.

Being “marriage material” isn’t about being unproblematic.

It’s about knowing how to repair, reflect, and reconnect. How to turn towards each other instead of away when the life you’re building gets rocky.

Marriage Material is AisleTalk’s premarital counseling package designed for couples who want to understand each other before patterns set in — not after resentment does.

If you’re building a life together,
this is part of the foundation.

Your wedding therapist wants the best for you.
And sometimes that means being honest about what isn’t in your best interest—
like starting a marriage buried in debt for a single day.

A meaningful wedding doesn’t require financial self-sacrifice. Your relationship deserves more than that.

Your wedding therapist will absolutely celebrate your vision. And she’ll also tell you—lovingly—when the numbers don’t add up.

Debt isn’t a prerequisite for a beautiful wedding.
Protecting your future is part of caring for your relationship.

If you’re craving grounded, honest support while planning, we’re here.

Liking therapy content on social media doesn’t mean you’re naïve or “doing relationships wrong.” However, letting unqualified, algorithm-driven advice become the authority in your relationship can be detrimental.

Especially during January, when improvement and growth feel urgent, it’s important to know the difference between feeling seen and actually being supported.

Read our new blog post and set up a consultation if you’re ready to get started with professional guidance!

Mother–daughter relationships are often our longest — and most complex — relationships.

During transitions like weddings or adulthood, old patterns can resurface just as everything else is changing. Meet Her Here was created for those moments.

This short-term therapy package supports mothers and daughters in learning each other again… with more understanding, steadiness, and compassion.

For times when the relationship needs space to evolve + strengthen; not fracture.

Last year, our founder and director, Landis Bejar had the opportunity to collaborate with The Safer Society Foundation, teaching therapists and other helping professionals a compassionate approach to working with justice-involved clients and the crucial skills that help prevent further harmful behavior. In this webinar, Landis touched on boundaries, attachment dynamics, shame resilience, emotional vulnerability, and more! Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing tidbits -- or words of wisdom from our very own Landis.

For our post today, we're starting with defining a healthy relationship. When you think about a healthy relationship, what qualities come to mind? How do you show respect, care, and support day to day? How do you keep emotional intimacy? Swipe to hear what Landis has to say!
