🌙 Random night sweats

Everything looked “normal,” but my body clearly wasn’t calm.

🧩 Eventually I discovered histamine was a big piece of the puzzle.

🍑The answer is quite possible... it’s also possible that you didn’t wipe enough but it is usually one or the other (in rare cases, hemorrhoids)

🍑Most commonly it is pinworm that causes an itchy bottom 🕳️ - and thankfully pinworm is pretty easy to eradicate.

🌍 Yes, mold exists everywhere. That’s normal.

🚫 What’s not normal is living long-term in a water-damaged indoor environment with active microbial growth.

🧬 In susceptible individuals, chronic exposure can shift immune balance, increase histamine load, strain detox pathways, and contribute to multi-system symptoms that often get mislabeled as stress, hormones, IBS, or anxiety.

🧠 This isn’t about panic.

🔎 It’s about pattern recognition.

Happy National RD Day out there to my fellow dietitians!

I’m not sure that I’ve ever really shared the whole picture of how I got here

But I’ve wanted to be a dietitian since I was 11

and I’m so proud of the work we do here

🔎 Getting to the root cause is the most important thing you can do if you actually want lasting resolution.

🌿 If you’re constipated, bloated, or reacting to everything…
