FREE CERT training, Basic First Aid
The first person on scene has the unique ability to make a tremendous, sometimes life saving, contribution to the positive outcome of an emergency. When you arrive upon a situation before EMS and other responders there is a lot you can do. Come learn about basic first aid and the steps you can take to keep the situation safe and help out.

Prepare U 2026 Community Preparedness Series

Join us for free, interactive courses to learn about disaster preparedness, building from the basics. This is open to the entire community.
Prepare U - 2026 is designed to be appropriate for everyone, and will focus on personal preparedness, organizational preparedness, Incident Command System, and much more.

We will convene on two days, from 11:15 AM to 4:45 PM on 24-25 March (Tuesday and Wednesday).

Classes will meet in person at the Hayward Public Library (888 C Street; Hayward, CA 94541), in the Fremont Bank Foundation Rooms A&B, on the second floor.
