Heike makes it her mission to recall something meaningful about every patient — whether it’s a family experience, a recent trip, or a personal milestone — and bring it up at the next visit, even a year later. It’s her way of letting patients know: “I see you, and you matter.”

Earlier this week, our trauma team hosted a Trauma Prevention Fair at our Christiana Hospital campus in Newark, DE. Attendees received helpful information on trauma and injury prevention from our caregivers and community partners through interactive games, giveaways and more!
