Miracles Happen in the Most Mysterious Ways!

I haven't posted in a while, and I'm going to dedicate this post to my mom's former partner Al. They were together over 30 years, never married, but they might as well had been. He was never my step father, but has been, and always will be a part of my family. He was there for my mom through her illness.
After my mom passed, he had to move out of the home he shared with her, and my childhood home. Along the way, he met some very important people; an amazing mortgage lady, and a very supportive real estate agent, who both put him into a home of his own. As time went on, his grief only got worse. But then he received a phone call. Back story, Al has a daughter, which he had of course, before meeting my mom. He attempted a relationship with her over the years, but due to personal issues, it never came to be. This phone call changed everything. It was his daughter Mary! Her and her husband reached out, they met up, and are now on their way to a successful relationship. And he also has young grandkids! I am so happy for him, you have no idea! He really needed this! Now he has his own family, but will always be a part of mine. So cheers to Al! You deserve the best!
