A letter from our Founder and CEO:
Today marks five years for Impact Life.
There are moments when I try to put into words what Impact Life has become… and I keep coming back to one thing: we did not build this alone.
To every person who has walked through our doors and trusted us with your story, your healing, or your hope - thank you. It is an honor we never take lightly.
To the families who have allowed us to support your loved ones during some of the hardest moments of their lives, thank you for trusting us to stand alongside you.
To our partners who have collaborated, challenged us, and believed in the work - you have helped us grow stronger, more thoughtful, and more impactful.
To those who have funded programs, supported initiatives, and invested in this mission, you have made it possible for us to reach people who otherwise may have gone unseen or unsupported.
To everyone who has donated, volunteered, shared our work, or simply spoken our name in a room we weren’t in, you have helped carry this mission further than we ever could on our own.
Impact Life was built on connection, on second chances, and on the belief that people deserve access to care, compassion, and opportunity. Every single person who has crossed our path has played a role in shaping what we are today.
And I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to recognize Don and Jeanne Keister.
Don, Jeanne, Jim, Dave, Fran and others at attack addiction believed in this mission when it was just an idea, when the path forward wasn’t clear, and when the need felt overwhelming. They gave us our start, and that kind of belief is something you carry with you forever.
Because of all of you, Impact Life has been able to serve thousands of individuals and families across Delaware. But more than that, we have been able to create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and supported.
This work is deeply personal. It is rooted in lived experience, in the damage caused by addiction and loss caused by overdose, in resilience, and in hope.
Thank you for believing that recovery, healing, and change are possible.
