To all who brought a gift in from our giving tree, THANK YOU! So many smiles and excited faces as everyone opened up their gifts at our party yesterday. It means so much to all of our residents and to our staff too, to be able to give each resident a Christmas gift. We also played a fun game of pass the present yesterday morning. Just look at all of these happy faces! 🎅🏼🎄🎁

Last week we had our friends from Perkins School visit us to sing carols and hand out ornaments that they made for us! We also had volunteers stop in from Carrie’s Cause, an organization that delivers pointsettas to the residents of nursing homes and assisted living communities all over the country. Each resident received a beautiful poinsettia and appreciated the kind gesture very much!

Friendly reminder that gifts from our Giving Tree can be dropped off anytime before the end of the day on 12/22. They can be left at the front desk or with any staff member! Thank you, we are so grateful for all of the gifts that have been pouring in for our residents. ❤️🎁

We’ve had a festive week! 🎄

We started out with a little Angel’s Attic pop up holiday shop for our residents to do some Christmas shopping. All proceeds go to Laurel House, which our residents love to support!

Then we decorated 200 cookies that will go into boxes for all of our residents to enjoy. 🧑‍🍳🍪

We also went on a scenic ride around town last night to check out the Christmas lights. Our group was smaller than usual but we still enjoyed each other’s company and stopped for some Frosty’s along the way. 😋

We have lots more festive activities to come!

Last week, we had the cutest visitor! Meet Arlo the baby wallaby! 🦘 Our residents loved snuggling him, and he seemed to love it too. We enjoyed our visit very much!

We are thankful for our Terrace family this year! Our residents and their families, who make our lives better and brighter just by being in them, and our dedicated staff who pour so much love and care into all that they do each and every day. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 🦃🍁🍽️ ❤️
