The Center for New Beginnings is now accepting donations of furniture and small home goods to assist survivors of domestic violence in starting a new life. New or gently used items include mattresses, bed frames, sofas, love seats, chairs, dressers, dining room tables, coffee tables and end tables. We request that all items are smoke free and without pet hair or stains. If you have a piece of furniture that you would like to donate to help a survivor get a new start please contact our volunteers at 740-587-0178 Ext. 2.

Thank you to First Presbyterian Church of Granville, whose members have continued to volunteer as coordinators of our furniture donation process.

❄️ Warming Center Opening This Sunday Through Tuesday ❄️

Due to the extreme temperatures expected, the Licking County Emergency Warming Center will be open Sunday, Jan. 18, Monday, Jan. 19 and Tuesday, Jan. 20 for anyone in need of a warm, safe place during the extreme cold.

592 W. Main St., Newark
Hours:
• Sunday: 5:00 PM – 8:30 AM Monday
• Monday: 5:00 PM – 8:30 AM Tuesday
• Tuesday: 5:00 PM - 8:30 AM Wednesday

🍽️ Dinner and breakfast provided by Licking Memorial Health Systems
🚌 Evening transportation available via Licking County Transit (Monday–Saturday evenings) along their established routes.
