On March 6, Dress in Blue Day, LMHS staff donned their blue apparel to raise awareness and support for colon cancer prevention, research, and the importance of screenings. Why wear blue? It represents the blue ribbon, which is the international symbol for colon cancer. Blue also conveys a sense of hope and optimism, reflecting the message that colon cancer is often treatable when detected early. Contact your primary care physician today to schedule a screening.
