University of Delaware's Occupational Therapy Club

The Occupational Therapy Club seeks to bring together students who are passionate about OT and health care and the changes we can make in the lives of patients. We hope you will join us as we get together for monthly meetings, listen to guest speakers, volunteer and plan fun events to learn and grow in our understanding of the field of OT. We hope that our volunteer events, club meetings and activities will encourage and inspire your love for people and working in this creative and exciting field!

I randomly came across this blog and I ended up spending a good amount of time reading through it. It features stories from many different people about their experiences with OT and how it impacted their lives, even if it was through a family member who was the one going through OT. It also features a section with general information about the field and how amazing it actually is. Please take the time to read through, I promise it's worth it!

Happy April!! April is Autism Awareness Month and to honor that, I thought I would post an article highlighting the positive role OT can play in Autism Spectrum Disorder. It's definitely an interesting read, especially if people are interested in a field such as this one!
