On Friday, the Unity Family Success Center partnered with the Irvington Neighborhood Improvement Corporation (INIC) to prepare 150 produce bags for the holiday season. With the help of our staff, their family members, and interns, the team assembled the bags, which were distributed alongside turkeys and pantry staples from the INIC. This effort reflects the power of community collaboration and the commitment to supporting families during the holidays. Thank you to our amazing partners and helping hands who made this day special!

What a night! Cooking & Conversation lit up the Morris Museum with incredible energy. We were honored to welcome Kiran Handa Gaudioso from United Way of Northern New Jersey, who inspired the crowd with her story. Chef Anthony D’Anna of Michelle’s Catering wowed everyone with delicious bites and cooking tips. Guests left with our signature Partnership tea towels and recipes—perfect for holiday entertaining! A huge thank you to our sponsors, donors, and everyone who made this evening unforgettable.

WOW! Our Unity Family Success Center hosted a festive Thanksgiving-themed gathering for parents and children at our Irvington office! We welcomed seven families and 15 kids for an afternoon of scrapbooking, turkey ornament crafting, and sharing a delicious early holiday meal.

WOW! We are grateful to Isabelle Felix, President of Bassinet, Inc., who visited our Irvington office last week with 1,000 diapers for our home visitation and maternal support programs! An increasing number of families across our region are struggling with food insecurity and hunger. Because of our generous donors, we were able to help this week in Dover and Irvington. The Excellence Family Success Center, along with Zufall Health's SNAP Ed program, LocalShare, Sacred Heart Church, and Table to Table, provided fresh produce and pantry staples to over 300 families — well above the usual demand at this monthly free farmers market. Our dedicated volunteers warmly greeted the new attendees and ensured they left with plenty of food. This morning, our Unity Family Success Center, with support from our FELLAS team, provided fresh fruits and vegetables for over 150 families. We worked with the Irvington Neighborhood Improvement Corporation and the Urban Agriculture Cooperative to meet this need. We are grateful to all of our outstanding partners. Our efforts are ongoing, and we will continue to share community resources as we work to ensure that all families thrive.

Our Lead Poisoning Prevention team connected with over 500 individuals across Hudson, Sussex, Passaic, Essex, and Bergen counties to raise awareness about the importance of lead prevention.

We also spotlighted lead safety tips and resources throughout last week on our social media channels in honor of Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. Thanks to everyone who joined us in spreading the message!
