Happy Thanksgiving from our Mt. Vernon staff! Meal will be served at 11:30 today.

We are thankful for our staff in Newark and Mt. Vernon who gave up their Sunday to come in and cook the Thanksgiving meal. The feast will be served today at 11:30 a.m.

The Main Place Donation Policy:

We are grateful for the many donors in our community who provide clothing, toiletries and other items for our free closet. It is extremely helpful for our peers. We accept donations during our regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., according to current needs and available storage space. We are very grateful for the response of our donors when we make appeals for special needs of our peers.

We do have very liimited storage space, so we are not able to take large donations comprised of several bags and boxes. We also work very hard to keep our properties clean and free of trash and clutter. Please do not bring any donations after our normal business hours as we do not have the ability to process those donations when the centers are closed.
