🥣The Hearth Brook team partnered with Premier Home Health to deliver delicious Panera Bread soup to our amazing local social workers to celebrate National Soup Day, yesterday. We made visits to The Laurels of Heath (Ciena Healthcare), Arlington Care Center, Newark Rehabilitation, Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation, Altercare Newark North, and Johnstown Pointe.

This was our small way of saying thank you for the compassion, dedication, and tireless work you do every day to support seniors and families in our community. 💛 We are so grateful for these partnerships and truly couldn’t do what we do without you!

Last week we celebrated National Assisted Living Professionals Week with our amazing Director of Lifestyles and the heart she pours into our community every single day. From meaningful activities to joyful moments of connection, she goes above and beyond to enrich the lives of our residents while promoting staying active, engaged, and socially connected. Thank you Lori for your creativity, compassion and dedications to making our resident's days bright! We are blessed to have you!

We were so excited to surprise her with a little self-care basket — a small thank-you for the BIG impact she makes. 🌸

Lori has been in healthcare since 2002 and joined Hearth Brook in October 2022, stepping into her current role in March 2024 with a passion for making a difference. One of her favorite memories is planning Senior Prom—complete with dancing, singing, and Prom King & Queen—because seeing our residents smile truly melts her heart. She loves that no two days are ever the same and finds the greatest joy in knowing residents look forward to seeing her and joining activities. Lori describes our residents as wonderful, caring, and full of love—and says heartfelt hugs and thank-yous are what remind her why she does what she does every day. 💕
