4th Annual G-ALES-Burg Beer Fest, the next large fundraising event we would love to see you at if you are near the central Illinois area! 🫶
🤔 Do you have your ticket to the 4th Annual G-ALES-Burg Beer Fest yet to support the Vascular Anomalies Alliance? Each year, this festival GROWS, just as much as the little guy who inspired it.
📚1 in 10 babies are born with a vascular birthmark, and 10% of those who have a vascular birthmark will have to be monitored by a doctor or treated for the rest of their lives. Our two owners’ son/nephew was born with a Vascular birthmark known as a port wine stain birthmark. Blake and Lindsay sought out as much information as possible from the birthmark community to advocate for Vail and his path to taking care of his birthmark in the best way possible.
With the support of the birthmark community and new friends made along the way, they found a path, which was not as easy as one would think it would be to find. From there, they decided it was time to give back to this community who helped them by raising money to help others that are in their same shoes—the beer fest was then created in 2023. In 2024, they came together with 6 other families and members of the birthmark community to create the Vascular Anomalies Alliance. VAA strives to connect & support the birthmark community. They strive to REACH their community by financially supporting travel to seek care, procedures, advancement in Research, Education for the medical field, and Advocacy, while creating a safe space and sense of Community where everyone feels like they are Home.
