I would like to start by saying thank you to all of you for your support and patience during this extremely stressful time. As of May 15, I will be allowed to start seeing clients.
In order to sustain your health and mine, the massage experience will be different than before. I will be following the state guidelines as described below to facilitate the safest therapeutic experience possible. Below are some highlights and these regulations are subject to any changes and new orders from the governor or health department.
Most importantly, you must be symptom free for 2 weeks to attend your appointment.
Per the CDC, symptoms include:
Cough
shortness of breath or difficult breathing and two of the following:
fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headaches, sore throat and new loss of taste or smell
Clients will need to call or text when they arrive and wait in their vehicle. After I have completed the previous session and sanitized the room, I will call or text you to come in for your appointment.
Hand sanitizer will be made available to you at the start of your appointment.
I will be wearing a face covering during all appointments.
It is recommended that you also wear a face covering during your service. I will have some to provide for you if you do not have your own. Medical and other issues making this difficult must be discussed prior to your appointment. If you have concerns, please call me.
Point of sale devices, surfaces, oil or lotion dispensers and high touch surfaces are disinfected and all linens are removed and replaced after each client.
A daily deep cleaning and sanitation of all tools, including massage tables, using CDC and EPA approved cleaning and disinfecting methods will be conducted
I will use products with non-permeable barriers, such as vinyl mattress pad covers, to cover table and table warmers. This will include bolsters, face cradles, and pillows
I will be unable to provide water at the end of the appointment, so please bring your own if you’d like.
I will be booking more time for services due to sanitation procedures required between services. I plan on contacting everyone to reschedule in the order their appointments were cancelled. This is the fairest way I can think of to accommodate everyone. I am just as anxious to see all of you as you are to see me and will do my best to get everyone in as soon as possible. I am looking forward to seeing everyone soon and appreciate your patience during this time of transition.
