We’re hiring! UD Health’s PT Clinic is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team in the Neurologic and Older Adult Clinic at UD. Our clinic is made up of 100% board-certified specialists, all of whom are also clinical educators for our DPT program. We also have a team of residents and fellows specializing in neurology, geriatrics, orthopedics, sports, and manual therapy, which creates a rich, collaborative environment that supports growth.

At UDPT, we foster a unique and dynamic setting where clinicians, students, and researchers work side by side to provide top-tier patient care to the University and the surrounding community. This position offers exciting opportunities in clinical teaching, patient care, and collaboration with research and curricular development.

We’re looking for a motivated professional ready to perform at the top of their license with experience in geriatric or neurology, and we’re prioritizing candidates who have completed Residency training.

Contact Leslie O’Neill at loneill@udel.edu for more information or any questions!

This winter, many of our second-year DPT students participated in the Advanced Regional Anatomy elective—a unique opportunity to explore anatomy on a deeper level.

In the first half of this course, students begin with a review of the whole body, studying of all of the major muscles, bones, ligaments, neurovascular structures, and more. In the second half, students focus on a body region of their choice and present their findings in the lab to their peers. This experience not only reinforces their anatomical knowledge but also enhances their confidence as future clinicians.

This experience would not be possible without the generosity of our anatomical donors, or “silent teachers.” Their generous gift allows students to deepen their understanding of the human body and advance as healthcare professionals.
