Volunteering at the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast is always one of the most meaningful ways to give back each year. Thanks to the flexibility of the role at Flint Ridge, there’s the opportunity to step out and serve alongside so many incredible members of the community — something that is never taken for granted.

From flipping pancakes and serving plates to working side-by-side with students and fellow volunteers, it’s always a fun and rewarding morning.

The best part? Every dollar raised supports Camp O’Bannon and the lasting impact it has on local youth.

A huge THANK YOU to a dear friend who has ask to remain anonymous, she created this wonderful idea to bless the Flint Ridge staff.

After caring for residents most of her life, she knows firsthand just how hard our fliir staff works day in and day out. Because of that, she took on this project — and she has never wavered.

Now, she has joined forces with Newark Free Will Baptist Church to bring even more thoughtful treats for ALL of our floor staff and more.

It means so much to see our team recognized and appreciated in this way. Acts of kindness like this remind us that what we do matters — and that our community sees it.

We are beyond grateful. 💙
