Este, our Golden Retriever service dog, has begun training to identify high and low blood glucose levels on patients. Today, Este experienced a patient with a blood sugar level of 23. Immediate action was taken by our staff to provide measures, and Este never left his side. We are proud of her.

Meet our new clinic friend, Este. Este is an 8 week old golden retriever, and she will be trained to be a diabetes service dog. Este’s daddy, Chance, has type 1 diabetes, and she will be able to detect high and low blood sugars on him and our patients. We love having her as our furry friend here. 🩷
