Continuing in our thankfulness from our "Cottage Christmas" we are so grateful for our amazing staff who come up with some exciting games and activities throughout the year, so here's a little fun this Friday from our Christmas celebrations!

We are so incredibly thankful for the amazing outpouring of generosity each year at Christmas for the boys we get to welcome as part of our families! It is always such a privilege to explain why people (who they often haven't even met) are hoping for, praying for, and being so generous to them: They have a bright hope and a future and there is an army of people in their corner cheering them on.

SO, Thank you for the encouragement and the kindness from everyone who had a part in making this Christmas special for our boys! To us, it is like a choir echoing the message that we share every day "You are LOVED!".

Whether you are for, against, or indifferent regarding "New Year Resolutions" the reality is that any opportunity to prayerfully self-reflect and actively plan for growth is valuable.

And... regardless of the day of year, if you have put your trust in Jesus as LORD and Savior, and your plans are truly to the Glory of God... consider it done because He WILL bring it to pass!

Special thanks to several members of our "Hole Crew" who VOLUNTEERED to help finish the prep for foundation piers for our Reins of Hope equestrian center! We were so proud of the enthusiasm these guys showed to tackle this project and go the extra mile!

And to answer your burning questions:
NO, they did not dig these holes from scratch, just finish work - special thanks to Wilson Tractor for the use of a backhoe!
Yes there were several jokes and references to the book/movie "Holes"
No, there was no treasure chest
Yes, everyone had such a great attitude we were compelled to take them out for a special treat as a "thank you". (It was a huge blessing to see such strong work ethic in young men and we want to not only foster that altruistic servant's heart, but also honor that in special ways when we can!)
