We are glad you now want your flu vaccine! But we really wish you would have gotten it in the fall, because we KNOW it decreases severity of illness, risk of hospitalization, and death from influenza. We also KNOW it decreases transmission and protects the vulnerable - infants, the elderly, and people with chronic illness. Taking away unhealthy things can sometimes be more important than adding any supplement or medication. This is a great example! Minimize eating plastic-wrapped foods, drinking from plastic cups or bottles, and using keurig-type cups. Never microwave any food in anything plastic! Change to glass food storage containers.
