Thank you for an amazing year of practice 💗🪷🌈

“Equanimity is Balance everywhere. Balance with the force of wisdom being included in a compassionate effort” Sharon Salzberg

This is my wish for us all for 2026. We did a lot of great things as a community this year…

🪷We raised enough money to bring the Shala into a steady place after the big change of ownership

🪷We started a community fridge & pantry and continue to keep it stocked

🪷We set up a peace corner in our little plot of green by planting a tree and arranging Tibetan peace prayer flags for our community to enjoy

🪷We raised a significant amount of funds for Bea, our little friend fighting brain cancer

🪷We showed up day in and day out for ourselves and each other

🪷We created a love wall as a reminder that kindness is here despite the inevitable ups and downs of life

These are just some of the bigger picture things, but there were so many more silent things we did to hold each other. I am truly in awe of the fierce love this community holds.

We are so grateful and honored to have had amazing guest teachers with us this year .john.campbell

Oh the things we can do.

A snowy morning in honor of little Bea. we come together to support, nourish, and show our unwavering love for The Comstock Family as they navigate Bea’s recent brain cancer diagnosis. Driven by a community of family and friends near and far.

we link arms to help shoulder the weight and create as much peace and joy as we can.

Winter solstice
A time to go deep within to gather our resources, to nourish the soul, to find the light that inevitably lives here despite the dark.

We journey in community, as this path is not one of solitude but interconnection. Each of us a little light holding the remembrance that light is there. Gathering reminds us that no light is singular, we shine together, we travel in the dark together.

May the blessings of one benefit all.

Thank you for being here with us, outpouring love 🙏🪷🤍

Learn traditional Ashtanga Yoga

Derived from the traditionally called Mysore style Ashtanga, this method of studying yoga asana is tailored to the individual's needs. Postures are taught one by one in a quiet room through individual instruction from a skilled teacher. The practice is taught gradually and according to each person’s needs and abilities.

Our Shala honors the lineage of Ashtanga Yoga as taught by Paramaguru Sri R. Sharath Jois. Our program is led by Bibi Lorezetti, direct student of SharathJi, Julie Madsen and our guest John Campbell. We are dedicated to honoring SharathJi's teachings, life dedication to the practice, and ensure the lineage gets passed down in its pure form.

Excellent For Beginners: Come observe or take a class during designated hours and speak to our teachers about initiating practice.

The room opens at 7am and closes at 9am Monday- Friday, you can come in at any point in the window of time.

The same will apply to the new program hours:
Tuesday 11am open to all but dedicated to beginners

Meet Catherine Miranda :)

She teaches on Tuesdays at 7pm and subs when she can. She shares with our Shala community the practice of Jivamukti.

We asked her
What is yoga?

Here is her reply...

Yoga means union and we find it through compassion for all sentient beings! Yoga practices for me always include learning new things through my dearest teachers and friends, devotion, mantras, mediation, scriptures... and ahimsa, meaning deep respect and compassion for all human and non human animals and the earth we share in my everyday choices, on and off the mat!

Join her for class!
