Luke’s Hospital and The Cornwall Hospital merged to create an integrated health care delivery system, providing quality comprehensive health care services. With dedicated staff, modern facilities and state-of-the-art treatment, St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital is committed to meeting the needs of the community and continuing to aspire to excellence. Each year the organization cares for more than 270,000 patients from around the Hudson Valley. With 1,500 employees, the hospital is one of the largest employers in Orange County. George’s Church. A recent $11 million renovation and expansion of the Kaplan Family Center for Emergency Medicine at the Newburgh campus, and the Littman Center for Emergency Medicine at the Cornwall campus, has resulted in state-of-the-art facilities designed for patient comfort and convenience. General trauma bays and specialty treatment bays for cardiac, asthma, women's health and pediatrics enable SLCH's highly skilled ER team to provide comprehensive, quality care in a patient-centered environment. Last evening at the annual MSLC Holiday Party, it was our distinct honor to award the 2025 Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Employee of the Year to Jamie Scarpati.

Jamie has been a Physical Therapist at MSLC for more than 20 years. Throughout her tenure, Jamie has been a Catch a Star recipient nine times. Jamie has been commended for outstanding performance, strong commitment and the significant impact she makes on patients, colleagues, physicians, and all of us who have the pleasure of working with her.

Congratulations to Jamie and all of our 2025 Employees of the Month! This recognition throughout the year has been well deserved for each and every one of you.

Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall (MSLC) is a not-for-profit community hospital with campuses in Newburgh and Cornwall, NY. The Joint Commission noted MSLC for excellence in Key Quality Measures in the management of Heart Attack, Heart Failure, Stroke and Surgical Care. MSLC is also recognized as an industry leader in using information technology to improve patient care, by winning the Most Wired Award for the fourth year in a row.
