Massage For Your Health-Kelly Endsley, LMT and staff

Massage For Your Health-Kelly Endsley, LMT and staff We are Licensed Massage Therapists specializing in Clinical Massage Therapy, with further specialties in Prenatal, Postnatal and Medical Massage services.

Our office is dedicated to your pain. Originally, we primarily worked on women, but that eventually changed because we found many of our clients had husbands and other male family members who needed our expertise. We specialize in chronic pain, autoimmune disease pain, and other pain associated with cancer, car accidents and trauma to the physical body. Many of our clients are referred to us by physicians, physical therapists and chiropractors. Kelly Endsley developed the first postpartum inpatient program in this area. The office was previously located at The Women's Hospital in Newburgh for 12 years. During those years, Kelly and her staff provided thousands of massages to both prenatal and postpartum patients, as well as helping people with a number of different acute and chronic issues. Please note, we are no longer affiliated with the hospital and any massage therapy done there is not in any way a reflection of our massage therapy services. The inpatient program is no longer Mommy Massage, dba, nor is it affiliated with Massage For Your Health. Our therapists underwent an intense training for both prenatal and postpartum services and we can not endorse any therapy given inside the hospital.

Creatine, a compound primarily stored in muscles and the brain, is naturally produced in lower amounts in women (20-30% less than men) due to differences in muscle mass and hormonal profiles.

Synthesized from amino acids like glycine and arginine, creatine supports energy production by replenishing ATP, crucial for cellular function. While men typically have higher baseline levels, women can benefit significantly from supplementation, as studies highlight its impact beyond athletic performance.

Research indicates creatine supplementation in women can enhance mood, alleviate depression, and boost cognitive function. By supporting energy metabolism in the brain, creatine may stabilize neurotransmitter activity, potentially reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety, particularly in women with lower baseline levels.

It also shows promise in regulating hormones, such as estrogen, by influencing pathways tied to hormonal balance, which can be beneficial during menstrual cycles, pregnancy, or menopause.

For example, studies suggest creatine may mitigate mood swings and cognitive fog during premenstrual syndrome or postpartum depression. Additionally, it can enhance strength and recovery in resistance training, indirectly supporting mental health through improved physical well-being.

Dosing typically ranges from 3-5 grams daily, with minimal side effects like water retention. While more research is needed, creatine’s multifaceted benefits make it a promising supplement for women’s physical and mental health. Always consult a healthcare provider before starting supplementation.

A groundbreaking discovery suggests that a simple face and neck massage could help the brain stay cleaner and healthier. Researchers at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology have identified a network of tiny lymphatic vessels just beneath the skin in the face and neck of mice and monkeys. These vessels drain cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), which removes harmful proteins such as beta-amyloid, a major contributor to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Previously, scientists believed these vessels were located deep in the neck, making them hard to stimulate. But with special dyes and a new type of anesthesia, they found them much closer to the surface. To test their function, the team created a small device that gently stroked the animals’ faces and necks. Just one minute of this massage boosted CSF flow by nearly three times, with older mice showing fluid movement similar to young mice.

Early tests in monkeys reveal similar promise, and researchers have even identified comparable vessels in human cadavers. While more studies are needed, including trials in Alzheimer’s models, this gentle, non-invasive method could one day help people reduce brain waste buildup, potentially slowing age-related decline and lowering disease risk.

MY BUSINESS IS NOT CLOSING!!! WE ARE HERE TO STAY !

I have had so many text messages about Haley’s post; with everyone thinking I am closing my business.

I assure you this is NOT the case!

The therapists who work for me are independent contractors so they build “their” client load within my business. What she meant about building from scratch was that she has built a large clientele who absolutely adore her and are so sorry to see her leave.

I have been in business for almost 24 years and I’m not going anywhere! 🩷

Best wishes Haley😔🩷
It is with such deep sadness that I share the news that Haley is leaving to take a full-time nursing position. I can’t even begin to imagine walking into the office and not being greeted by her warmth, kindness, and that beautiful smile.

Haley is not only an absolutely amazing therapist—she is the kind of person who touches lives far beyond the work she does. Her compassion, her laughter, and her heart have left an imprint on all of us, and she will be so deeply missed.

I wish her nothing but success and joy in this exciting new chapter… though if I’m honest, I secretly hope she realizes she misses us too much and comes running back in a few months 😉😘.
