Some say if you want to go fast then you go alone and if you want to go far then you go together.
I say if you want a short life then work hard and no break but if you want a long life then you work and rest often.

After a long winter, I do need my rest.
My office will be close from 3/18 to 3/29 and will be reopen on 3/30.
Again the only way you contact me is through my email, and it is only for prescription refill.

I also could not do any physical form while away.

As the holiday season approaches, I want to thank you for trusting me with your children's care throughout the year. Please noted our adjusted office hours during Thanksgiving.
We will be closed from Wednesday through Thursday.
On Friday we will be opened from 9-12 for sick visit only.

Dear Parents,
Happy Tuesday.
Hope everyone is doing well.
There are two announcements.
First I will be out of office this afternoon to attend a funeral.
Office hours will resume this Thursday.

Second, fall is upon us and so is RSV.
Currently there is no RSV vaccine for babies, but only monoclonal antibodies injection.
Monoclonal antibodies injection has been around since 1998 but it was not all babies.
Now we have Beyforus for all infants under 2 years old.

There will be a last minute change for this week schedule.
The office will be open on Wednesday and close on Thursday.
I will see sick visit on Wednesday from morning until 3 in the afternoon.
Then will be close on Thursday and reopen on Friday morning.

Well Summer break is finally over and some are happy and some are sad.
I still remember way back in Hong Kong when I was in grade school.
I was so unhappy going back to school after summer break.
We were not free of school work during the summer.
Each student would have to finish summer workbooks during summer and hang in on the first day of school.
And I didn’t do any of the workbooks and it was horrible the week before school start.
Well as the saying go “If you play and then you will have to pay sooner or later.”
And in life equation there is always an equal sign and nothing is free but the question is who paying for it.

Now I do have to withdraw some time to pay for something later…cause “The winter is coming.”
The White Walkers of Flu, RSV and many other virus and bacteria will soon be roaming down the school hallways.
I have to rest and be ready for the coming fall and winter.
Therefore, I will take off sometime this month before all the dreadful germs upon us.

My office will be closed from 9/17/25-9/30/25.
I will open on Wednesday 10/1/25 for sick visit.

And as usual I will be only able to contact by email during the time I am away.

Dear Parents:

I hope you all enjoy the summer so far.
May be some of you are pulling your hair out by now with all your children out of school.
But I am sure your children are enjoying NO school and just play.
Sound fun and so I think I will also join them not going to work for the next 2 weeks.
Yes my office will be close starting July 4th and reopen on 7/21.
I hope you all be healthy for the next two weeks.

There are a lot of stomach virus going around, with high fever, vomiting and diarrhea. So please watch out what your children are eating and keep them hydrated with electrolyte water like Pedialyte.
Refer to the my baby handbook for help.
There are lots of information to help you.
Also make sure them have lot of sleep.
I know it will be difficult.

I could be contact only by email.

Dear Mothers:

Happy belated Mother's Day!!

Being a mother nowadays is hard. Many time mothers called me at the middle of the night worry sick about their children with fever and staying up all night to care for them and yet when children gowned up they didn't appreciate her love nor understood the amount of hard work she labored for them.
But God knows and I know.

When I was thirteen years old, my whole family immigrated from Hong Kong. Soon after we arrived my mother suffered mental illness and diagnosed with schizophrenia. Most of the time my mother would be emotionless and starring into space. There was not much of nagging like wear a jacket it is cold outside or making sure you eating right.
Is that good?
Well not until you experience no nagging at all then you understand how precious they are.

So mothers don't give up your nagging. Your loving nagging will one day be understood and appreciated.

I will be away on this coming Thursday and Friday for my kids college graduation so the office will close.
Instead I will be open up on this Wednesday to see any sick visit.

Please plan ahead for the your children physical for I will be away in first 2 weeks in July. Make your physical appointment early.
Most of the insurance allow early physical and also they are free.

Dear Parents,

Hope you all well.
Spring is here and Easter had came and gone.
However the miracle of resurrection still happening….

Eileen is resurrected from her retirement.
Yes she will be back for one day a week.
Michelle will still be working here twice a week.

Please pay attention to my office hours.
Office is closed on Wednesday and Friday afternoon.
If your child is sick, please call us early if possible.

Also summer will be here at the doorstep soon.
Please schedule your children physical early.
Take advantage of the school half day in May and June.

Again usually insurance allow one physical per day free of charge. But please call your insurance first to confirm this.
One physical per year would fulfill the school requirement so tare advantage of that.

Also this summer the office will be closed 2 weeks in the month of July. If you make plan for vacation, please also make plan for physical before school start.
I will stay late to accommodate some school physical.
But please call and plan ahead.

Also for every physical I will print out NYS approval Physical form for your children. But please scan it in your phone as PDF file so that you keep a soft copy in case the school loss it.

Dear parents,

With a saddest heart, I have to inform you my secretary Eileen had decided to retire after her knee surgery.
She has been with me for almost 20 years. Losing her is like losing my right hand.
Yet I am so grateful that God had bless me with her. We all will surly miss her.

In the meantime one of my sister from church is helping me out. Her name is Michelle.

It is difficult to have a solo pediatrician practice nowadays, specially with the billing issues from the insurance companies.
Every year my office would lose thousands and thousands of dollars due to rejections from the insurance companies.

Please help us to make sure your insurance information is up to date. We will need to see your insurance card every time you come to office and update us who is the policyholder.

Additionally my office will be closed from 3/26/25 through 4/6/25. Further details will be post here in facebook.
