Honored to have been part of this. Posterior and plantar heel pain is such a common ailment we as foot and ankle surgeon deal with on a daily basis. This edition of Clinics gives surgeons a great understanding of how to treat these conditions.

I was fortunate enough to be coauthor of the chapter titled “Neglected Achilles Tendon Ruptures”. In this chapter we describe all treatment options from primary repair, FHL transfer to V-Y turndown flaps, peroneal tendon transfers and reconstruction using allograft tendon.

If you or someone you know is suffering from long-standing heel and/or Achilles pain, please don’t hesitate to schedule an apportionment today by visiting www.drcharlesfootankle.com
