It's almost time to turn back our clocks! ⏰

Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday, November 2. For most of us it means an extra hour of sleep but for a senior in your life, there could be other challenges to navigate.

During this time of extreme food insecurity in our community and beyond, Avita is partnering with the Newburyport Rotary Club and the Salvation Army to provide delicious Thanksgiving meals to our local families. With the loving support of our families and friends, Avita will be collecting at least 80 cans of cranberry sauce for the Salvation Army to create wonderful baskets. Can you please contribute? We will be extremely grateful!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Plum Island Airport Radio Control Flyers Inc. AMA # 5198 for welcoming us. For some, it was their first time experiencing the excitement of RC flying, and for others, it was a joy to return.

The sky was clear, the breeze was chilly yet gentle, and it truly felt like the perfect day to watch these skilled flyers in their element. You could feel the joy and passion in the air—every plane put together with care, every flight shared a bit of that enthusiasm.

We were absolutely thrilled to join in on the fun and appreciate the warm welcome. Thank you for sharing your time, talent, and passion with us! We look forward to next year.
