The veil tore, signaling the immense grief of God the Father as His Son died on the cross, but also the purposeful triumph of salvation. It was a pivotal moment of grief and death, and at the same time, the greatest gift of hope—eternal life, where we will gather at the feet of our Savior and be reunited with our precious babies.

For those carrying loss, today is a reminder that you are not alone in your pain. The story of Good Friday is one of love that did not turn away from suffering, but entered fully into it. It is a day that does not rush past sorrow, but sits in it, honors it, and acknowledges its depth. It tells us that grief is seen, that it matters, and that even in the darkest moments, there is hope.

As spring approaches, we’re looking ahead to a special time—our 6th Annual Avery County March for Life.

This year’s theme is “Why I March” inspired by Psalm 139:14:
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…”

We march to proclaim this truth that every life is created with purpose, value, and meaning by God. Every step is a reminder that life matters.

As part of this year’s shirts, we are inviting 36 sponsors to be featured on the back. Proceeds from sponsorships go toward supporting the ongoing work and mission of the ministry.

Palm Sunday reminds us that even when the road ahead holds suffering, Jesus is still worthy of praise.

For the grieving heart, that can feel complicated. But you don’t have to have it all figured out.

This week, come as you are—with your questions, your sorrow, your longing and trust that Jesus meets you there with compassion and hope.

"They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, 'Hosanna!' 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!' 'Blessed is the king of Israel!'" John 12:13

Even here—especially here—He is still our hope and worthy of our praise.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Jesus said, “I am the Resurrection and the Life… Do you believe this?” (John 11:25–27)

Grief changes everything. One moment you’re full of hope, the next you’re holding loss you never prepared for. But even in the unknown, God knew—and He was already preparing our hearts by showing us who He is.

Jesus didn’t just speak hope—He proved it. He wept with us in sorrow and overcame death through His resurrection. Because He lives, our hope is real: death is not the end, and our babies are alive with Him.

When everything feels uncertain, we cling to what is true—He is faithful, He is trustworthy, and He is the Resurrection and the Life.

So today, in the middle of grief and questions, He still asks: Do you believe this?
