Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to serve and protect our great country. Today we would like to take time to also thank the family members of our employees that have served.

1. Roy Barnes, Jr., father of employee Patty Attaway, retired army.
2. Jeff Shafer, father of our Physician Assistant Jared Shafer, a retired colonel in the army and served 27 years dutifully. He was an artillery officer who went on to ranger school at the 75th ranger regiment at Fort Benning and then served in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Just Cause in Panama. He then returned to Ft Benning to teach at ranger school before deploying to Europe to command a MLRS rocket battalion. He retired in 2001 after service at FORSCOM at Fort McPherson handling reserve deployments.
3. John A. Dunham, great grandfather of employee Allison Sharpe, served in the Navy during World War II.
4. Major William (Matt) Bolton, brother of our Physician Assistant Beth Fleming, served in the Air Force as an F16 pilot and now is in the Reserves.
5. Harris Wilson, stepson of Melissa Reed, is currently serving in the army and is currently stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado.
6. Chris Stone, husband of employee Donna Stone, Army active duty 1986 to 1998, served in Central America, Middle East, Balkans. Retired Sgt/E5, combat vet of several campaigns. Served as a paratrooper in the 82D Abn Div.
7. Jacob Stone, son of employee Donna Stone, 2017 Graduate of Newnan High School, served in the Army from 2017 to 2020 as a Combat Engineer, served one tour in Iraq. Jacob is working to complete FAA certification for Air Frame and Power Plant maintenance at the Community and Technical College, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
8. SPC Levi Stone, son of employee Donna Stone, 2020 Graduate of Callaway High School, currently serving in the Army with the 25th Infantry Division, stationed at Schofield Barracks in Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi.
9. Thomas J. Maxwell, father of employee Tina Smith, Specialist 5 US Army.
10. Mark McCausland, uncle of employee Alexis Peoples, was in the Army in 1967-1970 also during Vietnam. He was also awarded The Purple Heart award.
11. Arthur Wilson, grandfather of employee Alexis Peoples, was in the Navy in 1943-1946 during WWII and spent most of his time on a liberty ship named Cybele.
12. Robert Grubb, uncle of employee Alexis Peoples, was in the Marine Corp in 1967-1968 during Vietnam, and was awarded The Purple Heart award.
13. Corporal Tom Vaughan, husband of Kerry Vaughn, USMC served 1984-1990
14. Thomas Taylor, father of Teresa Lee, served in the US Army.
15. Truman Stubblefield, stepfather of Teresa Lee, served in the US Army.
16. Michael Calvin Calhoun, husband of employee Karen Calhoun, served in the Navy 1972-1975 USS Kitty Hawk VA-52 Knightriders Air Craft Maintenance.
17. Harold T Hayes, grandfather of employee Elaine Eason, served in the Navy and fought in World War II.
18. Eric Billitteri, brother of employee Elaine Eason, served in the Navy.
19. Wallace Sharpe, grandfather in law of employee Allison Sharpe, served in the United States Army during World War II.
20. Andrew Collins, husband of employee Lindsey Collins, served in the Marines.
21. Larry Caldwell, father of Christie Stevenson, retired Army National Guard.
22. Joey Stevenson, son of Christie Stevenson, served in the Army National Guard.
