Autumn is the season when the lungs are at their most vulnerable. Mostly this is due to the humidity of the summer giving way to the crisp, dry days of fall. Pollen contributes to the vulnerabilities, too.
The lungs should be moist, like a well-wrung sponge.
Often the body compensates for the dryness - or in response to pollen or a pathogen - by producing more mucus. It is important that if you get a runny nose or eyes or phlegm in your chest, to STAY away from dairy. Dairy is mucus-producing. It’s great if your mucus-linings are worn away or dried out, but when you are producing too much mucus, back away from dairy!
Keep yourselves healthy. Don’t be .
