We got to hang out with some local heroes recently! πŸš“πŸš’

During our City Hall trip Tuesday, the crew had the amazing opportunity to meet with our local Newnan Police Department and Newnan Fire Department. The clients had the best time asking them all about their jobs and what it takes to keep the city safe every day.

They even got to climb up and take photos on the police side-by-side vehicle and take a full tour of the fire truck! Seeing the huge smiles on their faces while hanging out with our first responders was definitely a major highlight of the day.

Drop a πŸ’™ or a ❀️ in the comments to show some love for our local first responders! πŸ‘‡

Have you ever wondered what it is like to sit in the council chambers? Our clients got to do just that yesterday!

We had an incredible sit down session with the Mayor to learn about the city's history, followed by a very fun Q&A. Our crew did not hold back either! They asked some fantastic questions about local statues, why TikTok was banned, and yes, they even made sure to bring up the potholes across the city.

The Mayor was so polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. He really took the time to give thoughtful answers and connect with everyone on a personal level. The clients felt so heard and absolutely loved the conversation!

We had the absolute best time today! Our crew took a very special field trip to City Hall for a full tour, and it was an experience we will not forget anytime soon.

Getting to see how our city runs from the inside out was so cool for the clients. They loved exploring and learning about our local government. We want to send a massive thank you to the Mayor, the Police Department, and the Fire Department for making us feel so incredibly welcome. Everyone took time out of their busy schedules to show us around and make the day special. You all went above and beyond for our group!

Our golfers are officially leveling up their game! β›³οΈπŸŒοΈβ€β™‚οΈ

Recently the crew took an awesome trip to Fairway Social for some interactive practice. They had an absolute blast working on their swings in the high tech bays. The best part of the day was getting some amazing, hands-on tips from a real golf pro!

Having professional guidance made such a huge difference. You could truly see everyone's confidence growing with every single swing they took. It is so inspiring to watch our athletes dedicate time to improving their skills while cheering each other on.

Our Book Club took a wonderful journey right here inside the building for Read Across America Week! 🎈

They traveled around to the different groups to read several beloved stories out loud. One of the absolute favorites of the day was "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" Hearing our clients read to their peers was incredibly heartwarming and brought so much positive energy to every room they visited.

We kicked off Read Across America Week with some serious style!

One of our groups got super creative and made their very own Cat in the Hat cutout masks and hat sets. Just look at David and Brittany showing off their amazing creations! They look like they stepped right out of the storybook. It is always so much fun to see everyone's personality shine through their art projects.

Others around the budilding celebrated by wearing a crazy hat.

Help Us Celebrate Read Across America Week with a jam-packed Friday! πŸ“šβœ¨

Today the crew dove into some fun Dr. Seuss worksheets to get those creative gears turning, and we took plenty of silly pictures to capture all the laughs. After, we kicked back and relaxed to watch the Sam I Am adventures on Netflix while enjoying some delicious treats together!

It was the absolute perfect way to spend a Friday and celebrate the joy of reading.

Would you eat them in a box? Would you eat them with a fox? 🦊🍳

Today we celebrated Read Across America Week by listening to the classic "Green Eggs and Ham" on tape! To make the story even more immersive, we served up a real life snack of green eggs paired with a warm cup of coffee. It was such a silly, delicious, and interactive way to experience the story together.

We recently celebrated Lorna's very last Art Club meeting of her incredible career here at Rutledge. To make this session extra special, the group worked together on a collaborative "single stroke" style painting.

Here is how it worked: every single client took two turns walking up to one shared canvas to add just one single line. Watching them build off each other's creativity was so beautiful. The end result? An absolute masterpiece that holds a little piece of everyone!

Lorna has brought so much color, joy, and inspiration to our artists over the years. This beautiful canvas is the perfect representation of the lasting mark she has left on all of our hearts. We are going to miss her so much!

Please join us in wishing Lorna the absolute best in her next chapter! Leave your well wishes in the comments below. πŸ‘‡
