As I contemplate the name of my little Wellness business of Hive Healing LLC I’m reminded of what it means to be part of a Hive. Recently I was able to team up with Rachel Schory at the Outpost and facilitate a Creative Kids Expressive Arts workshop where we used a bubble theme to learn about mental health vocabulary like regulated and disregulated , belly breathing and mindfulness. We had fun with bubbles and made bubble art as we learned to bubble breathe. I began my work with Mrs. Roberts at Heard County High School with the Mental Health Matters program where I introduced Expressive Arts and how it can benefit our over all mental health. I was also pleased to facilitate a sound Bath experience at Heard County Public Library where we learned about a unique sound experience to help reset the nervous system. I’m honored to live in a community that offers its residents resources, and experiences to enrich and benefit their lives. I look forward to many more experiences to come. It feels good to be part of a hive working toward health and healing.
