As the world is taking extra precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19, Newport Lido Pharmacy is doing its part with additional safety and sanitization measures to prioritize the health and safety of its employees, patients, and customers.

To assist with keeping our community safe, Newport Lido provides alternative medication delivery options, such as curbside pickup and home delivery. Daily temperature checks are performed for all staff members within the pharmacy, and any staff member that has a fever or is exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms is asked to return home and seek medical attention. We have also implemented additional precautions for our associates including providing face masks and encouraging frequent hand washing and effective use of hand sanitizer. Shared surfaces are proactively disinfected, and for further protection, a long-lasting antimicrobial coating is sprayed monthly on all pharmacy surfaces to kill and block the growth of viruses, bacteria, mold, and fungi.

Newport Lido Pharmacy continues to encourage healthy behaviors in accordance with CDC guidelines, such as comprehensive cleaning and sanitization protocols in place to maintain a safer environment for staff members and patients during this time. Hand sanitizer is available for customers, and protective barriers are also installed. Newport Lido Pharmacy will continue to assess health and safety measures on an ongoing basis.
