A moment on the mountain can look effortless… but it’s never the whole story. I didn’t start as the skier in this photo. I started as someone who fell, got back up, fell again, and kept choosing the long, slow, humbling path of practice. Mastery is just repetition with a little more grace each time.
3 self-coaching questions for anyone frustrated while learning something new:
1. What part of today’s “fall” is actually feedback I can use?
2. Where did I show even a tiny bit more skill, courage, or clarity than last time?
3. What’s one small adjustment I can try next, instead of expecting myself to leap to the finish line?
Growth rarely feels glamorous in the moment, but it’s always happening underneath the surface. What skill are you learning right now that’s asking you to be patient with yourself?
