I have surfed. Which doesn’t mean I am a surfer, but I have had the experience of paddling out and with deliberate action popping up to stand on the board, then surrendering to the wave. It is an amazing feel – I just wish it weren’t so cold! It’s a good reminder that control isn’t found in clinging, but in releasing and being ready for the next wave🏄🏻‍♀️🌊
