It was a privilege to speak at the Preservation and Structural Rhinoplasty Course in Palo Alto this week. Dr. Sam Most led an exceptional program, bringing together surgeons dedicated to advancing the art and science of rhinoplasty.

I presented a detailed review of a complex case involving a severely crooked nose and discussed the treatment principles needed to restore structure, balance, and function.

Opportunities like this remind me how important it is to keep learning, keep teaching, and keep pushing our specialty forward. 🙏🏼

Two weeks post surgery and already a great start. His breathing is clearer, the structure is refined, and the nose is settling into a shape that feels natural on his face.

Two weeks after surgery and already a noticeable change in both form and function.

This patient came in with significant breathing issues caused by an S shaped septal deviation, axis deviation, and a small dorsal hump that developed from a mix of trauma and natural anatomy. We corrected the deviation, created a smooth and balanced bridge, and supported the tip to improve both airflow and structure.

Even with the splint on, he felt the difference right away. Now, the nose looks more refined, more proportional, and allows him to breathe comfortably through the night.

And this is only the beginning. The result will continue to improve as the swelling settles.

This patient came in with an S-shaped deviation, dorsal hump, and asymmetry through the tip and nostrils. We performed preservation rhinoplasty with septoplasty and turbinate correction to improve both breathing and alignment.

The dorsum was lowered for a smoother contour, the tip was supported with a septal extension graft, and the nose was brought back to the midline for symmetry and proportion.

Now her profile is refined, her breathing improved, and her confidence higher than ever.
