My girls asked me yesterday why we celebrate "World Diabetes Day." I initially didn't know what to say.

If you're a part of our world or the T1D world, you know how difficult this is to manage. It's been almost two years and I think the last two weeks have been the most difficult yet.

However...

We celebrate because she's alive.
We celebrate because we can.
We celebrate because of resilience.
We celebrate ALL of our strengths.

My Daddio once told me "you were put on this Earth to save her life" and I truly believe that.

It is with a stable yet heavy heart that I announce I've taken a step back from my Thursday evenings with ... however I will be subbing as much as I can there and am hoping to assist them in debuting their aerial yoga classes soon ✨
..with this I am slowly preparing to leave here and make my final move home to the 716 this Spring and absolutely WILL be holding local yoga events as much as I can!

The ones I have scheduled are as follows:

Music is such a huge part of why I love teaching yoga classes. Putting together a playlist to flow to for the people in my class, especially if I know what you love, makes me SO happy.

Last night my VA bestie let me drag her to an overcrowded show to see and let 👏me👏tell👏you👏...

It was a dream I didn't even know I had come true.

📍Poughkeepsie, NY- with my infamous yoga assistant didn't disappoint. 10/10 would go again.

Hills.
Pizza.
WAIT.
Fires.
Dunkin drama.
Dranks.
Breakie.
New friends.
Smiles.
Laughs.
Tattoos.
Dress ups.
Trees.
..just what I needed.

We tragically lost a loved one at this exact time last year and haven't been the same since. Thanks for helping me live life 🙏

I shared a quote that deeply spoke to me with some of y'all in NH, and was called to share it on here (which I'm trying not to do so much anymore)

"We are all just walking each other home."

Friendly reminder that we are all a mess. I'm slowly realizing this year that everyone is on their own wild journey- and we are all so so flawed, but we choose to love others deeply anyway- how beautiful is that? Be real, 2025 has been INSANE for everyone I know.

We are literally in others lives for a reason and a season- and no matter how we slice it we are literally just walking other humans through this crazy life to get to the next chapter- whatever that may be.

This is honestly such a hard concept for me because I am such a connector. I crave connection and hold others so meaningfully- so to me this quote helps me realize that even if things aren't "forever", we still play such an important role in others lives.

May the journey bring peace and happiness... cause man, we tired over here.

BE IN THE MOMENT WITH VERSATILE YOGA Versatile Yoga is a privately owned yoga business created with love and passion by Lacy C. The goal of VY is to help people of all varieties to find their own love and passion of yoga while experiencing the mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional benefits that yoga has to offer. Lacy C. is a military wife who has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. She started going to a restorative yoga class with her Mom and was hooked after that. She is 500 hour certified in Hatha yoga and is actively seeking her certification in prenatal yoga, postnatal yoga, and yoga for children. She is an experienced instructor in hatha yoga, restorative yoga, mommy and me yoga, and vinyasa yoga who has a deep passion for helping practitioners find the style class that they love. Lacy believes in living a life full of joy, gratitude, and free of judgement. These feelings inform and guide her teaching and practice, which is focused on helping students better connect to themselves and with their surroundings. She offers classes at The Yoga Den in San Antonio, TX and private sessions.
