JUMPERS BEWARE!!!
Did you know that leaf piles often contain mold and small critters? We get it, there is nothing that says Fall quite like jumping in a pile of leaves, but taking these few extra steps can help the fun last!
1) If you have a known or suspected mold allergy, wear a face mask
2) Check leaf piles before jumping for small critters, sharp objects, and bugs
3) Change your clothes and, if possible, shower as soon as you get home from playing in leaves
4) Avoid shorts, T-shirts, and flip flops. Opt for close-toed shoes and clothes that cover your skin instead (long pants, jackets, tall socks, etc.)
